    Default Will This Be Easy?

My question involves guardianship in the State of: California.

I am a legal guardian for four of my nieces and nephews (they were living with their mother prior to us taking them in as it was proven to be in the best interest for them). My 16-year old niece, who originally consented to us taking them in, is now wanting to go back to living with her mother - especially now that she is pregnant. My husband and I are planning to file termination of guardianship paperwork to allow this. My question is...how do you think the court will react to this request, even though there will be no one contesting this, since it was originally found to be an unfit place to live?

I personally can't see the court allowing a pregnant minor to return to a home the courts have found unfit to live in.

Rather, I see the opposite happening.
