My question involves child support in the State of: Colorado
My child support orders that I pay until my daughter is 19. No problem except that she will be moving out of her fathers house when she is 18. I would much rather pay her grandmother that will be raising her until she graduates high school, instead of her father that will no longer be raising her. Any thoughts? Do I need to go back to court to get the order modified? We have a court ordered child support but I pay him directly, so I'm not worried about the state coming after me, I'm worried about her father collecting child support for a child he won't be raising anymore.
