Under 18 . Shoplifted at Superstore No Cops

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Canada.B.C

i am under 18 years and i shoplifted about 200 $ worth of stuff/makeup with my friend ( 200 toegther) before that there were several items that were found in our bags from garage.. 1 shirt from dynamite and 3 shirts from suzy shear .. they caught us and just got our names and took pictures banning us from the mall.. my mom came and got me when she did they didnt tell her anything about recieving a letter or of some sort but when i was there and asked them they said that i might recieve a letter claming to go to juvi court to say juilty or non juilty then have to go to court once agian to se my charge .. is this true or false? and since i am 17 wil this go on y permant recors? also i didnt take the cloths from other stores but they were in my posetion ..so even thou they cant prove we stole the cloths can they still charge us? there were no tags on the cloths so they cant prove it ( the tags have been ripped of) and also they didnt get us in the act.. can some1 please say if they will or not give me a letter even thou the cops were not called on us? and what will likely happen?.. one more thing they just gave me papr sayin im not allowed to come to the mall for 1 year and the store super store for 6 months .. and took my picture.. did they just let me off easy or are they going to press charges?
