My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: PA
I'll keep this fairly simple but I do need some advice since I will be challenging a ticket.
I was clocked doing 45mph in a 25mph zone. The device was an Accutrak system which requires the officer to click a button when a vehicle breaks the speed trap markers. My complaint is that he only clocked me for 100ft of roadway (less than two seconds) and I had only just pulled out of a driveway about 80ft before that. I had already passed him two times prior to this and was aware of where he was sitting.
Would it be in my interest to go into court with technical information about my vehicles acceleration capabilities to prove that it would have been technically impossible for my vehicle to have reached that speed in that short of a distance? I don't want to irritate the judge but at the same time I want to be able to have a fair trial and the ability to prove my innocence. I know for a fact I wasn't speeding and the other witnesses in my vehicle can vouch for that as well.
Also there are errors on my ticket but those don't generally hold up to well considering they are minor at best.
Any Advice?
Also is there anyway an Admin could change my username to 94Punk just to help protect my identity, I was a bit rushed and didn't think that through haha.
