Default Traffic School Eligibility (MPH Over)

My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: CA

If you are cited for CVC 22349a (exceeding 65) going 86 but the posted speed is 50 what is your traffic school eligibility based on.

On the citation the posted speed was written as 50. Would my eligibility be based on that or the 65mph in that particular CVC.

Your best bet: ask the court clerk if you qualify for traffic school.
