Well, heck, let's just get rid of all the age of consent laws.

In my state it is a misdemeanor conviction that does not require registration. If it was one of my sons, he'd be getting his ass kicked which is a lot more than the justice system would do to him.

Does anyone here think long prison terms is the proper response for teen sex? Then why are we jailing teens left and right for it?

I'll let you figure this one out without comment but as suspicious legal types don't ignore what is left out. Say what?!? My 13 year old knows that teen sex is wrong. Heck, most any kid knows. they might choose to ignore it, but they know.
