My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: California
Ok, so yesterday I received a notice of citation(or violation) for making a right turn on a red light, caught by a traffic camera. The thing is, the car I was driving was registered in both my father's and my name. The citation was actually addresed to my Dad, though I was the one driving and Im the one in the picture.
I've been looking all day for any reason I can to contest the ticket, I'm wondering though, since the citation was issued to my father, if he could just fill in the affadavit on the back saying that he was not the one driving the car and mail that back, maybe with a copy of his drivers license. Will this get the citation dismissed? Thanks in advance
