My question involves criminal law for the state of: Massachusetts.

well i been on probation since january for assualt and battery that happened over a year ago. This saturday i was charged with assualt and battery (which really was not true) and got arrested on the spot, got bailed out. Went to court today for me pre-trial hearing and in court i had to cash bail again, originally for $1,000 but my court appointed attorney asked to reduce it to $250 which the judge accepted. now thursday i have to go to court for violating probation because of this incident and im afraid of whats going to happen, i leave out of state the next day, friday, for college and worried ill be put in jail and miss school. the person who i sopposably assaulted went to court with me today and wanted to drop the charges but unfortuantly that did not work out, but he is coming to my parole violation trial to say that these charges arent true again. what do you guys think ill be getting, extended probation, jail time? hopefully extend probation so i can go back to school the next day out of state. thanks
