My question involves bankruptcy in the state of: CA

My lease expired july 1 2008 my landloard is letting me stay month to month for the same amount of rent that i was paying not fair, but with part of my store being taking over by them, so my business has 200 sq ft less, total was 450 sq ft my question is i have decided to switch my cp 13 to ch 7 as business has slowed down like everyone else here where my business is located, but will the trustee or court appointed person inquire as to the lost my lease issue will they call or contact them? My lawyer did not say anything about that except to stress that you lost your lease!
