My question involves a condominium located in the State of: Florida
Our Board of Directors have held several "Emergency Meetings" one was during the daytime (when most owners are out working) and one was at 5:30 in the afternoon.
One Board member was not able to attend because of his work. At a recent regular Board Meeting much conversation was bantered between Board members about attending these meetings. A question was asked by the single Board meeting .."was there any decision made at this meeting?" The question was trying be sidestepped by the property manager and the Board President.
My question is this: is there a legal definition of what constitutes an unposted "Emergency Meeting" in which there doesn't seem to be an emergency. Florida states that all Board meetings must be posted.
