Failure to yield which led to fatality.
Anyone know of the implications that this ticket may carry?

In addition to the traffic offense it could lead to a vehicular homicide charge --some type of homicide where criminally reckless conduct suffices for liability--criminally negligent conduct may not be enough for the homicide, but take a look at the article.

Thanks for the response - the traffic homicide investigator said no criminal charges would come of the accident, does that mean anything?
That is probably a good sign for the violator but the prosecutor/district attorney would have the final say on whether a charge is filed.
A failure to yeild ticket was issued... I think I'm going to fight it.
You need to consult with an attorney.
