Default Criminal Trespassing in the Third Degree NYS 140.10

My question involves criminal law for the state of: New York

Hello, I have been charged with Criminal Trespassing in the Third degree(NYS Penal code 140.10). I have never been arrested before let alone to any kind of court. I have no idea what the best course of action would be.

The situation was my friends and I were at a High School the other night and we were walking around it when we noticed a large hole in the wall(turns out it was because it was under construction) and we entered the building. Somehow we tripped an alarm and we ran when we saw lights. We were arrested shortly there after.

Any kind of help would be appreciated.

You are how old? Do you have a criminal defense lawyer yet?
