My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Florida.

I have been renting for almost 2 years now, in July I recieved foreclosure papers stating that the owner has not paid since April. I pay my rent to a rental agency. I asked them what would happen if the foreclosure went through, where would I go, would I get money back? I wanted to know the answers to this before I paid Aug rent, they didnt answer until after rent was considered late. Then they asked that I drop rent off by 5 pm on the 6th of the month, I made it there at 5:30 and they then were asking for late fees ($75 + $5/day). I didnt thnk I should have to pay the late fees and now they wanted my payment in certified funds because they were now considering my rent late when all I wanted was clarification. I disagreed. Now they have filed eviction papers. Can I be evicted when the unit is in foreclosure?? I know I will have to go to court to fight this and just wanted some advice. Thanks!
