    Default Separation

My question involves divorce in the State of: Missouri

I have separated from my wife because of repeated physical abuse by her. She has said that she refuses to divorce me because of health insurance issues (she is uninsurable on her own.)

I realize I have responsibilities to maintain payments of mortgage, and other debts. What other fiscal responsibilities do I have to her? Our daughter is 18 and moved out of the house three months ago and is leaving for college next week.

You don't have to keep her on your insurance. However, if she racks up medical bills...your on the hook for half of the expenses until the divorce is final.
Speak with your attorney about this, eventually you'll be granted the divorce whether or not she likes it. Your financial responsiblity will be determined in court, thats what your paying your attorney for.
