My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: Maine

I was recently pulled over for speeding at a criminal offense: 95mph in a 50mph area (the officer that pulled me over put it as a 45). I'm a minor and have only had my license for about 3 months, making me an intermediate driver. It was around 8 pm with no other persons in the vehicle and I was not under any influence or using any illegal devices, speeding was my only offense. This is the first time I've ever been pulled over, and my first offense. I was curious as to what I should do; the officer did not arrest me-as it's an arrestable offense- and was mainly concerned for my saftey, but I've had many adults tell me I should fight this or at least have a consultation with a lawyer (I plan to within the next week). I have recently received a job that I had applied to months before the night I got caught speeding, and I was wondering if this would help my case at all because I have one more year of school to go, and live between parents houses in different townships. While staying at my mothers( my main residence) I will be in the town where I work, but I go to school where my father lives; this being said, would it be possible to have some kind of supervised license where I would be permitted to drive myself to school and work? I have a court date next month so I'm trying to do some damage control by taking an online defensive driving course to help appeal my case to the judge. Since I'm an intermediate driver I'm afraid I won't be able to find a loophole around the one year suspension and I'm aware of my actions but in the least would I be able to bump the ticket down to a moving violation or lower the fine?
