Default Age for Kids Dropping Out of School

My question involves child support in the State of: Texas

How old can my child be to drop out of school in the State of Texas?
Reason being one of my child is 16 and I'm afraid that he has dropped out and my Ex has not reported to the State or to me...What should I do in this matter?

Default Re: Age for Kids Dropping Out of School

The legal drop out age in Texas is 18. The only exception is if you are 17 and get a GED or drop out to enroll in a GED-prep course. But, at 16, there are NO exceptions.
