My question involves criminal records for the state of: Georgia

In 2005 I pleaded No Contest to 2 charges of Simple Battery here in Georgia. I paid a fine, performed 40 hours of Community Service and was given 6 months probation. All completed satifactorilly. Before this incident, I had no record at all and had not had a traffic violation since 1983.

I accepted a job for a company that on occasion travels into Canada. I was required to get something call CANPASS which is an expedited way of clearing customs. The Canadian Authorities denied my application and I was fired for not being able to travel into Canada.

In order to remain employed, I am attempting to resolve this. I have applied for a pardon here in Georgia but nothing has been granted as of now. Is there a way to get this expunged or sealed? This will affect me the rest of my professional career otherwise. Thanks.
