Hello,

This is my first time posting so, bear with me! It's in reference to a felony conviction that I've had on my record since 1994, basically when I was 6 months into my 18th B-day! (couldn't of planned it any better! )

This has been a tremendous burden nonetheless. I have had jobs in various states this point, but truly when it comes down to it an application/resume there's usually that one question that sticks out "Have you EVER been convicted of a felony?" Of course I answer Yes! ....

My question is that my crime happened in Alaska! Alaska dosen't allow pardons and/or expundgments (at all). Is their another way around this? What really did it for me, now that I am currently in California. I have been seeking employment on/off for about a year currently collecting unemployment so on...But I tried to get a volunteer job, I got turned down; Tried to get a job through a temp agency, but they don't allow felonies. Is it California or what?

Honorable Help Please! Serious Inquiry!

Thank-you very much!
