Exclamation Hit By a Runaway Golf Cart

My question involves injury or loss that occurred in the state of:Michigan
My son was at a golf course they have a weekly class for kids where you drop off your kids and pick them up about 3 hours later...My son was in a group of 12 kids under 11.They were only being supervised by a 16 year old.

The 16 year old parked the golf cart at the top of a hill and left it to aid another child. My son and 2 kids were on the golf cart, my son got off the golf cart to get his ball that rolled down the hill. He ran down the hill to get his ball and looked up only to see the golf cart coming at him.. The golf cart ran over my son only to have the front bumper stop right under his nose. He was pinned under it..The 16 year old picked up the golf cart and another boy pulled my son out..He put my son on the golf cart and drove him to theclubhouse where he was placed across 3 metal chairs. They called me and told me he was okay but his back hurt bad. I got there as soon as possible And drove my son to the ER i was panicked...He was treated for multiple taumas..He had numerous ct scans and x-rays.. But thank god he only suffered bumps and bruises and alot of scratches.
Now NO AMBULANCE was ever called (the doctor at the er said he was VERY UPSET about this) I was never asked to fill out an emergency contact info on him. The only way they knew how to get a hold of me was my son told them the number..Any my son was moved multiple times after the accident, after stating his back hurt bad. They are trying to change the story now saying my son was the only one on the cart.. His insurance covers his bills 100%..And the owner of the golf course is a PERSONAL INJURY LAYER! IM CONFUSED>> Is my son entitled to get money for his insurance bills anyways? They want me to talk to their insurance guy?My son who has loved golf since he could walk no longer wants to go anywhere near a course that has golf carts..UGHH..

Retain counsel and have your attorney talk to their insurance guy. DO NOT talk to him on your own.

When my husband was hit by a car while cycling two years ago, the other guy's insurance company wanted to only pay for the co-pay on the initial ER visit - none of the followup care, none of the cost of repairing the bike.

$100. For mowing someone down. And they wouldn't budge.

We went to an attorney, who took the case on contingency and won a tidy settlement.
