Can I Be Emancipated?

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of:
California

I'm 15 years old. I'll be 16 in a few months and i would very much like to be emancipated. I'm not going to go into all my problems and give a whole lot of details that you probably dont even care about. I've been going through a lot at home and don't feel that it's worth my stress and pain. Especially when I'm as mature and responsible as I am. I have always been very mature. I have been checking on places for a job. Right now I'm babysitting for 100 dollars a week. However, when school starts next month, I will be looking for a different part time job. My Dad says that I can still stay at our house if I like and pay a small fee. And my boyfriends parents are thinking of letting me stay with them. I get along with their family great and so does my dad. And they don't want me to pay rent or get a job. I would just have to go to school. But, I would get a job anyway. So, can i get emancipated.

I'm confused, you want to get emancipated for what reason?

Because you stated your Dad would let you still live at home, yet pay?

What is it you think emancipation means exactly?
