Default Internet Access to Law Forums when Detained

Internet access to law forums while detained would be of tremendous help.
    An idea for improvement?

    Don't get detained?

    Agreed.

We can restrict their freedom, read their mail and screen their calls... but we should let the inmates have access to EMAIL without restriction?

    Nope... not gonna happen.

Ask your local ACLU for assistance? Maybe they could lobby for a bill to allow inmates the right to browse ExpertLaw. Don't see it happening, though.

Inmates have access to law libraries with in prison. There is limited and restrited internet access to inmates now. It will not be unrestricted and open up so inmates can blog on forums. This would be faught by every prison system in the usa. As internet is not a right it is a privelage. As well as visits, phonecalls, and shopping at the prison store for inmates.
