    Default Employer Isn't Paying

My question involves employment and labor law for the state of: Georgia

My employer has missed payroll (only by a day or 2) 3 times over the past 3 months. I have travel expenses from mid-May that have not been paid. Finally, my 2007 bonus (which is not guaranteed) hasn't been mentioned. It was paid late last year (for 2006) as well.

I'm relatively sure that my employer is in a cash crunch and is paying as much as it can as early as it can. There are about 100 employees. I'm thinking of walking away, but am curious as to how to best ensure that I am paid in full for salary/bonus/expenses within a reasonable timeframe.

Georgia does not appear to have any wage claim service. So you would file a wage complaint with the federal Department of Labor, and/or sue your employer.
