My question involves business law in the state of: Ohio

I was wondering if it is possible to keep business ownership confidential. I have known people in the past that have had lawsuits brought against them. I want to know what the best way to hide the ownership of a company so if a lawsuit happy individual should ever want to cause trouble it would be very hard to find out exactly "who" to bring suit against. Is it possible to set up an offshore parent company? It is an e-commerce website I would like to set up but I want to know the best way to proceed. Thank you.
