My question involves unemployment benefits for the state of: Massachusetts
I was terminated last month for dishonesty, violation of policy and using a family members ID with there permission. but this was a big mistake, I believed that if there was any questions in regards of my actions i would be asked before, i was judged. i had many years working for this company and i have always been very honest and never did any violation of policy. once i was told of what i was accused i gave them my statement, and that i did not looked at what i did as vicious and premeditated, i was a mistake i had made. i suppose that the unemployment agreed with my statement because part of the benefits were given to me but now my ex employer has appealed. what can i do to get prepared and do i have a chance of winning?
