My question involves alienation of affection law for the State of: North Carolina.
My soon to be ex-husband and I are residents of North Carolina. The woman he had an affair with is a resident of Texas. Can I sue her for alienation of affection if she has only been to North Carolina for a weekend? Also-she and her husband do own a home in North Carolina---but live in Texas---does that mean that he could turn around and sue my husband?--even though Texas does not recognize alienation of affection laws?
