My question involves paternity law for the State of: California and Utah
I will make this as brief and concise as possible:
I was married to my now ex husband when I had my first child. Later we found out that he was not her father through a paternity test. I am now married to her biological father. The child was born in the state of Utah. On her birth certificate my ex husband is listed as the father. I now reside in the state of California and I would like to change the child's birth certificate to state her biological father as her father. Both parties (ex husband and current husband and myself) are all in agreement to this, but I dont know what paperwork I should fill out in order to get this done. The child is now 6 years old. The child was also listed as part of the divorce if that means anything. Any information as to which state's courts I should be dealing with and what paperwork needs to be filed would be helpful. TIA
