Default Can You Become a Peace Officer if You Get a Pardon

My question involves expungements or pardons for the state of: Arkansas.
I would like to know if I could become a Peace Officer in most states if I receive a Pardon for my already expunged felony convictions which were B&E and Theft of Property (occured together)? I'm a USMC Vet now with 12 years clean, not even a ticket. Thanks for your direction.
