My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: Colorado.
We took our car in for service and a tint job. Upon returning to the dealership in the afternoon to retrieve the car we noticed some sever paint damage to the 2 month out car. 7 of the 10 panels have clear coat and pigment damage. The dealership contracted with a third party to provide the tint installation and is now claiming to have no responsibility in the matter and is not helping resolve the matter. We have not taken deliver and the car remains in the service department.
1. Until this is resolved shall I leave the car in the service department?
2. Isn't the dealership ultimate responsible to repair the damages?
3. Is it reasonable to request the car be return to factory conditions?
4. Ave. to achieve this?
