Default Contributing To Minor, As A Minor

Last night me and my friend were at a bar/club in College Station,Tx.
when we got there we had both already been drinkin from a previous party.

i still decided to use my brothers id to get in as 21. we are both 18 and were only there for bout an hour and a half when we get pulled outside by cops who begin questioning us.

In the end i get a ticket for contributing to minor and my friend who is older than me gets and mip. My ticket has no date on when i should appear in court or contact the court. the officer only said to call in about 3 weeks and that they would set a warrent out for my arrest.

can I, in anyway get my charge lowerd to and M.I.P. I wasn't buying him drinks.. he was holding my shots for me which to my knowledge is where the contributing to minors offense comes from. any form of advice would be grand.

down and out, shoot outta luck.

You can try to negotiate a plea bargain. But handing a minor your shot glass, even if he wasn't supposed to drink it, is contributing alcohol to a minor.
