Why not try a contempt action in the court that issued the alimony award.

boy do I feel for you. I am also in a similar situation where my husband was ordered to pay me alimony after he had an affair and left me for another woman. He should be paying me 200.00 a week for 10 years and I have never seen a dime of it. We divorced in 2005. I have taken him to court 4 times and all I ever get is judgements against him. I am at a loss now. I have spent 8,000.00 on an attorney who ended up telling me that there was really nothing more I could do. I dont know if there are any other steps I can take and I cant afford any more legal fees. You said bankruptcy court...did you file for bankruptcy or did your ex? Did that have any effect on the outcome of anything? I wish I could give you some sort of advice but I cant say I have any.

sounds like you have done everything that you can. my guess is that since you went to bankruptsy court, ... assumption would be that he is the one who filed? that would be a pretty good indicator in my opinion that he doesnt have the money. but then again who does these days? especially $500.00 a week. You got lucky with a judgement like that.

He declared bankruptcy to get out of paying me and i won there by proving he CAN afford to pay. After winning in bankruptcy court i had to go back to family court, now I have two judgements. but im not sure about how to get leins w the judgements. he had put all his assets in his new wifes name before he filed bankruptcy. Idiot, in an effort to screw me he gave away everything to her. Ive searched online about how to attach leins, but of course all i find is how to get out of a lien.

as far as I know, if he has no assets there is nothing to attach a lein to. Sounds like a brick wall. Kind of like the old saying...you cant get blood from a stone?
