My question involves emancipation laws for the State of:IL. My name is Dylan and I am 16. This is complicated, look I am planning on getting emancipated next june, though I don't know how i would go about it, and if things in my past would stop me. For my past, lets see, the only thing that connects me to having a bad past is that i was a "victum" of sexual abuse or w/e from a guy that i truely did care for, he was caught and thrown in jail. also now I live with my uncle and aunt since this june actually. my dad gave them guardien rights or something like that, because me and him couldn't stand each other. but anyways alright so there is this guy that i really like, and i am hopeing that i can live with him when i'm 17 age of consent is 17 btw. he is older then me and it wouldn't be legal right now so that is why i am waiting till i am 17. i have a thousand dollars in a CD in the bank though i can't touch it till i am 18. and i have around 700 dollars in the bank but its under my fathers name and that i can't touch till i am 18. also i don't have a job yet, but definitly when i get one all i will be doing is saving up money, no spending so when the time comes ill have at least a thousand dollars in my bank hopefully. like i said its going to be a year till i file for emancipation. all i wanted to know is the whole past thing with being a victum, and now living with my uncle and aunt would that stop the judge from allowing me. also i know just wanting to be with this guy isn't a good enough reason but that isn't the main reason why i want to get emancipated. I truely believe that i would be better off takeing care of my self, and controlling my own life. but yes any advice would be good.
