    Default TBD Does Work and the Court Found Me "Not Guilty" (Bay Area, California)

    Several months ago, I got a speeding ticket on my way back to work near 880SB Automall, the CHP officer wrote me a ticket for speeding at 75mph and that ticket costs me $160. So just like what I did before, I wrote to the court for Trial by Declaration. And guess what, yesterday I got the court letter saying I am not guilty for the charge and they will refund me back the money later on.

    I guess that CHP officer probably forgot to submit his writing before the deadline and that's why the judge found no evidence to prove this case. Anyway, I truly believe TBD is the best way to fight for the tickets. Even let's say if we lose the case at TBD, we still have a second chance to go for an appeal. And that's how I got away with my previous ticket (2 years ago) as the other CHP officer had already relocated to a different county by the time I went to appeal court. (9 months after he issued me the speeding ticket)

    Anyway, best luck to all of us and be ticketless everyone!
