My question involves education law in the State of:Texas
I have completed the required courses for a Masters at a local univesity but the university is denying my degree because the prof didn't agree with my final paper (CCE). I have rewritten it twice but he wants me to retake two classes (that I made "a's" in) and do some more hours of practicum. I did more than double the number of hours required in the first place! It's all ludicrous and retaking the classes wouldn't change the grades!
Just add more money to my student loans! So I'm stuck with all these hours; all these student loans and can't get a job in my field, because I can't get the licensing needed for professional counselor. I've taken it up with the head of the university and they are agreeing with the professor. Do I have a case for a lawsuit against the university?
