My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Georgia

I have been living in Georgia for the last 7 years and was just pulled over for my first traffic violation. I was pulled over at an intersection with 3 other cars for not coming to a complete stop at a stop sign. This was a right hand turn where the intersection slits off with an island. I always thought that the traffic signal governed the turn over the sign. Since there was a green light I did not come to a complete stop. Do I have any grounds for fighting this in court or should I just suck it up and pay the ticket. I have looked all over the internet for this answer but I am having trouble finding a particular case the this applies to. What added insult to injury is that I was the last of the 3 cars in line so it literally took them over an hour just to get to my car

Thanks in advance for any help provided.

Thank you
