My question involves a traffic ticket from the state of: Georgia.
So, i have been living in the same house for the past 18 years, and they recently constructed a stop sign on the road preceding my neighborhood. I recieved a ticket for failing to stop completely on this stop sign on June 17. I was quite upset, and was determined to not repeat my mistake. The next day, i was going past this stop sign. This time there was a car infront of me and he came to a complete stop. i came to a complete stop after this car moved past, waved to my mother, who was coming from the opposite side, and a cop followed me for about 500 feet, and then pulled me over. It was a different cop, but i was quite upset, feeling i was unjustly written a ticket. He said, tell it to the judge, and wrote me a ticket. The tickets are 175$ each, and 3 points on my license each. I want to plead not guilty, for at least the second ticket. What would the best way to handle these tickets? Would i stand a chance pleading not guilty? I can testify, as God as my witness, and have my mom testify that i came to a complete stop that day.
