My question involves landlord-tenant law in the State of: Indiana.

Hi, I'm hoping someone can give me some advice. This is a bit long.

My BF and I just moved into our new apt. in Indiana on July1. Today I received voice mails from my landlord telling me that "the realtor just called to say that a woman wants to look at our 'condo'." He goes on to say, he doesn't think this woman is really interested in buying our "condo" but just wants to look at it to compare to another condo she is wanting to buy.
The second call is from the realtor, telling us she will be showing our "condo" at such-n-such time, etc.
The problem is that we had NO IDEA that the apartment we rented was listed for sale as a condo! The landlord did NOT mention this when we signed the lease!
The only hint was a clause in the lease that said if the "property" was sold, and the new owner did not want to continue the lease, we would have at least 45 days to get out. I took this to mean if a new landlord were to buy the building! Never in my mind did I consider that these "apartments" were on the market for sale!
My question: Do we have any rights to break the lease since we were not told the apartments were currently on the market for sale as condos? Or are we stuck unless/until someone buys the place? We don't want to have to suddenly find a new place to live on short notice! We would never have signed the lease had we known these apartments were for sale! Do we have any rights here? I cannot find any information on these circumstances.
Thanks for any help.
