    Default J1 Overstay Marry a Green Card Holder

    hi,,can anybody helped me with this case..?
    A j1 overstay for a month,applied for the 2 year waiver,,still waiting for the status on department of state..planning to get married to a permanent resident,,is there any chance I can also a green card??

    Not as long as you remain in the US illegally - which you are right now.

    Remaining in the US while out of status can adversely affect your place in line for a visa and can prevent you from applying for a green card in the future.
