    Default Odds of Winning

My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: California in the los angeles county (lancaster).

    this is my story.

about a month ago i was going to las vegas, neveda and i was moving with the flow of traffic. I was driving 70mph on a 65 mph freeway/hwy. i noticed that a hwy patrol car was behind me on the other lane and past me to drive behind a car infort of me to my right side lane. he drove behind that car for about 2 to 3 minutes then slowed down and switched over to my lane.. i maintained my speed since i felt i was not speeding, but my mistake was to roll down my two front windows (which were tinted black.) on my acura rsx-s which is a sports coupe. the officer drove behind me for about 5-6 minutes and my girlfriend who was in the passanger seat asked me to switch lanes and let the officer pass.. so i switch lane turning on my signal and as soon as a merged lanes i was pulled over.

i had asked the officer why he pulled me over and he said speeding so i laughed sarcasticly and asked how is it that the whole time their were other cars infront of me but he pulled me over.. i asked how fast was i driving and would not answer my questions.

then i receive my citation and was cited for speed at 80mph and for tinted windows. which were down and he never asked to see.

i will be fitting this in court, but what are my odds. i have my girlfriends as a witness. Any suggestions will be highly appriciated.

What section of the vehicle code were you charged with? Are you a CA resident (i.e. CA tags)? Was radar used?

Look at the ticket. If he used radar, he will have it documented there. If you don't think he used radar, how do you think he determined your speed? And answer the most important question... what section of the vehicle code???
