My question involves divorce in the State of: Florida
My divorce was final 3 years ago, and at that time the only property that was addressed was the car, as we didn't have a house or any real assets at the time. However, now there are things that I would like that I know my ex has, either at his home now, or in storage at his shop. They are some things that are mine that I asked him to store, and he admits that and said I could have those back, but I am not even sure what is there and what isn't there. There are other things, such as framed pictures, furniture, and our daughter babys things (clothes, crib, nursery stuff), and possibly some photo albums that I would like back now. He is telling me that since I didn't ask for it at the time of divorce I can't have those things. I would like the nursery stuff back to give to a friend of mine and I think my family might have bought some of those things for us. What rights do I have to getting the things he has in storage at his shop? What if he won't give me the things I asked him to store for me all this time or won't give me all of it back?
