My question involves a background check in the State of: Virginia

I apologize in advance as this may get a little long. My daughter gave birth in May. She expressed a fear of developing postpartum depression because of her history of depression/bi-polar. She has of course heard all the stories of women with postpartum depression harming their children and she expressed the fear of that happening to her when talking to her OB. Her OB called in CPS and now my daughter is not allowed to be alone with her baby and we have to provide 24/7 supervision for her and the baby. We went to family court and the classification was changed from an abused or neglected child to a child in need of services. My daughter has to have a full psychological evaluation done to determine whether or not it is safe for her to be alone with her baby, she has to take parenting classes, she is on meds for bi-polar and seeing a psychiatrist and therapist, and she receives additional "home-based services." CPS basically has deemed her a "danger" to her baby. My question is this: My daughter has always wanted to be a teacher or to work in the childcare field. Will this prevent her from ever being able to work with children?
