My question involves judgment recovery in the State of: California
Hello,
I would like to inquiry about the process to remove judgment from credit report.
Background:
Chapter 7 discharged in 2006. Credit Card Judgment was included in discharge. Retained lawyer was relatively new with bankrupcties and was hestitant to file to motion to remove/satisfy/vacate judgment with creditor after discharge. Lawyer advised he would take care of, but kept putting me request off b/c he won another case w/the firm. He stated he wanted to wait b/c the firm was tired of losing to him. (I have the email if you wish to read). Obviously, two years have gone by and the "professional" still has not completed my request. I would like to handle the situation myself or retain a seriously knoweldgeable lawyer to rectify this situation. My question is what form is required to release/satisfy/vacate enforceable judgment.
thank you for your time
