    Default Emancipation Law?

    My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Indiana

    I have a friend who is 17. She has an illness that can be treatable under a doctor's care. CPS has been called numerous times. They are doing nothing about it. Her parents are denying that she has a problem, they keep telling her she can get over it. She is crying out for help, can she partially emancipate herself in order to receive medical attention?

    Emancipation requires that she be self supporting. How does she plan to support herself?
