Default Deported in 1996 Due to Federal Crime is Legal Status Possible?

My mom was deported 1996 from California due to federal drug offense is there any possibility that she can gain legal status here in the U.S. through her children who all are U.S. citizens? Is there a time frame that she has to wait before attempting the procedures of legal status and exactly do we ask for pardon?

It depends on what the exact offense was, and the terms of her deportation.

Depending on the terms, she might be able to come back to visit. If she was given a lifetime ban, she can't come back at all.

You'll need to hire an immigration attorney to get her sorted out.
