Default Wife Forged My Name on Car Loan While Deployed

My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: California.

While I was deployed in Iraq my wife signed my name as a co-signer on a car loan. I had a power of attorney prepared before I left but it was specifically for enrollment in government benefit programs. I wish to remove my name as a co-signer as she is now starting to bully me with the payments. Would this be considered fraud? And if so by who? My wife or the dealership?
    Thank you.

Yes; by the lender upon whose loan application she forged your signature; what does the dealership have to do with your wife's act of forgery?

Sounds like you really need a divorce attorney.
