I particularly like being sneered at by somebody who isn't even following the forum's guidelines on self-promotion. But what can you do.

In reviewing your question, I see that yours is a Georgia marriage. Georgia does not recognize the tort of alienation of affection, and it is highly unlikely that a North Carolina court will find jurisdiction over a claim made by a resident of another state. (You should confirm that with a North Carolina lawyer.)
Here we have a North Carolina lawyer, so have at it - cite the authority for a person who was not a resident of the state contemporaneous with the alleged tort, and has not been a resident of the state at any time during the twelve years since the alleged affair, and who is still married and living in another state twelve years later, bringing an alienation of affection lawsuit in North Carolina.
