Emancipation in California

I am 17 and I have a 2-month-old daughter. My mother has already given consent for me to be emancipated. I am still living with her. Finding a REAL job is hard, especially because I dont trust anyone to watch over my daughter. I don't know what to do!?! I went to the welfare office today and even they rejected me because I am still living with my mother. I am not really sure of what to do. I have already graduated so that's out of the way...but everything else is just so hard....I need help! Please...someone. haha....

Are you trying to emancipate, or are you trying to get welfare benefits?

I honestly don't know. Well I called yesterday and got my job back! So I don't have to worry about that. So now, would it be worth it to get emancipted, so I can move out. How long does it take? Because if it takes longer than a few months I don't think it would be worth it for me. I turn 18 in June. I am just so scared to be doing all this on my own. I need some kind of help. It's just me here raising my little girl and it gets hard sometimes. I do get some kind of child support each month, so that is good. I think I will have enough money saved to move out by....maybe March. I don't know what to do.
