Default What Options Do I Have on Criminal Matter

My question involves criminal law for the state of: I live in Georgia, and recently purchased a used vehicle from a private seller. The vehicle is a 1998 truck and at the time of the sale the seller couldn't find the title. So, I did get a signed bill of sale. After several attempts to obtain the title, I found out that the seller has a lien on vehicle from title pawn place. Seller knew he had a lien on truck at the time of selling to me but neglected to tell me and to write it on the bill of sale. Are there any criminal actions I can take on him other than small claim court.

I am sorry this happened to you. This is why I only purchase autos from dealers.

Of course the seller did not give you the title, he was aware of the lien. You paid him for the car in full (for actual value of the truck) and he actually defrauded you.

You should go to the police and file a complaint.
