My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: California
So here is my situation:
When we moved into this apartment complex there was no parking assigned nor parking permits. but two months later they give us two parking permits and told us we need to have them on our cars. We told them that we have a son who's out of town for college and might come home once a while and where is he going to park? He (the manager) told us not to worry and he can park where he want.
Now here is the problem, few days ago our son came back for the summer and his car is towed one night from the apartment comlex. The tow company said the owner is the one who signed and allow the tow which is not the manager we talked to. I tried to talk to the manager to get my tow money back since its radicilous to have your own car towed from where you live but no luck and now i have no idea where to park our third car. Is there anyway i can take them to court to solve this matter? Any help would be appreciated.
