My question involves divorce in the State of: NJ
Divorce is long past, but spouse (who lives in Europe) won't sign to close out a joint investment account. All I want to do is get my half out of the account, which requires both signatures. (The account is at Fidelity, and holds some stock. I'd assume Fidelity is headquartered in Boston, but with so many offices I'm not sure.)
The spouse doesn't need their half of the money, but I need mine. How do I get it?
