My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: Arizona

I was arrested for "urinating in public". When I was being arrested I was thrown into the ground and received a gash under my eye. They took me to jail, where firefighters cleaned me up. They asked me if I wanted to go to the hospital, and after a lot of telling them that I didn't want to go if it was going to cost me money because I didn't think I had insurance, They told me I should go, and they put me in an ambulance. The trip was about 3 blocks down the street, no more than 5minutes. Several weeks later I received a bill for $750 from the ambulance company. Is there anything I can do about this? I told them I didn't want to do anything that would cost money, especially a $750 taxi ride down the street. (I left the hospital after more than an hour of waiting without ever getting helped)
